General information about the conference
The international conference “Adriatica 2024” is organized by the Presidium of the South Slavic Field and the National leadership of the Mostar Center and takes place in Dubrovnik, Croatia. The theme is “The Rose of Jericho – The Longing for the Living Water“.
The conference starts on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 6:00 pm and ends on Sunday, April 14th, with lunch at 1:00 pm.
The conference venue is the beautifully renovated four-star hotel Kompas in the Dubrovnik pedestrian area, located directly by the sea. All meals are vegan and vegetarian.

Registration
The registration deadline for the conference is March 1st, 2024. The conference fee is 50 Euros and is paid in person upon arrival.

Making your hotel reservation:
For the booking of your accommodation use the reservation system on the link below. As the organizer does not assign the guests to double rooms, the participants should arrange who is to be their roommate themselves, according to their wishes and preferences. Accommodation costs
Full board per person/ and per day:
- Double room: 82,50 Euro
- Triple room: 82,50 Euro
- Single room: 135,00 Euro
- Children under the age of 7, on an extra bed, have a 100% discount.
- For children, age 7 to 12, the price is 35,00 Euro.
The booking price remains the same for the period of three days before and three days after the conference.
Reservations can be made using the access code (LR2024) no later than 1st of March 2024, which is the booking deadline.
Included in the price:
- use of the Spa center (fitness, jacuzzi, sauna, indoor pool),
- parking space in the garage or in front of the hotel, depending on occupancy
- accommodation tax
- all prices include VAT
Transfer from Dubrovnik Airport to Hotel Kompas
Dubrovnik airport is 24,5 kilometers away from hotel Kompas. For the transfer from Dubrovnik airport to the hotel, you can use:
- a taxi
- Uber taxi (that requires an app on the mobile phone)
- a shuttle bus to Dubrovnik, which stops at several locations in Dubrovnik.
Excursion proposal (excursion to be done in your own arrangement)
There is a small town in Bosnia and Hercegovina, in the immediate vicinity of Stolac, about 100 km away from Dubrovnik – there are two tombstones (stećci) – necropolises, Radimlja and Boljuni.
Stećci are considered to be the Bogumils tombstones, they appear on the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Croatia and Serbia.
They date mainly from the period of 12th to 16th century and are connected to one of the previous brotherhoods.
- The stećci necropolis in Radimlja is one of the most impressive stećci location in the entire region. There are over 130 stećci there, some of which date back to the 14th century. These monuments are usually decorated with various symbols, such as crosses, rosettes, stylized flowers and sun and moon symbols.

If you decide to go on this type of excursion, (and you have not arrived in Dubrovnik by car), we suggest that you rent a car or a van in your own arrangement, since this is the best way to visit the necropolis.
